Two sentences on Amazon.

That's it. That's the ask. You don't need to summarize the plot, you don't need to be clever, and you absolutely do not need to have loved it. Honest is the only requirement.

Here's why I'm asking, because I'd rather show you the machinery than guilt you into it.

A book with a handful of reviews and a book with fifty reviews get treated differently by almost everything that decides whether a stranger ever sees it. Amazon's recommendation engine. Whether someone browsing clicks through or scrolls past. Whether the promo sites I'd like to get into will even look at me. None of that is something I can buy my way around. It's built entirely out of readers deciding to say something out loud.

And if you read it in Kindle Unlimited — you can still review it. Borrows count as verified purchases. Costs you nothing but the two sentences.

That's the whole email. Thank you for reading it, and thank you more if you read the book.

Happy reading. 🦙

P.S. Haven't started it yet? No guilt from me. It's free in Kindle Unlimited whenever you get there.
